Overview

QUANG BINH FIELD TRIP (4 DAYS 3 NIGHTS)

The objective of this trip is to give students an outdoor education experience, foster positive relationships between students and their peers, build students enthusiasm for the outdoors, and to challenge students mentally and physically.
 
Day 1: Dong Hoi Arrival – Phong Nha
 
Depart for our flight from Saigon to Dong Hoi. Upon arrival, we will be picked up and transferred to our hotel in Phong Nha.
 
Day 2: Paradise Cave Visit & Dark Cave – Elephant Cave & Ma Da Valley Jungle Trek

Today, we will embark on a fun day of exploring beautiful caves in the Phong Nha Ke Bang area - a UNESCO World Heritage site. We will also enjoy hiking through the jungle trail and river crossings and are in the depth of Ma Da Valley where we swim in the crystal lakes, do some cliff jumping and enjoy BBQ lunch at site.

Day 3: Paradise Cave Visit & Dark Cave – Elephant Cave & Ma Da Valley Jungle Trek

Today, we will rotate the activities of Day 2. We will go for Elephant Cave & Ma Da Valley Trek and the Dark Cave then followed by the Paradise Cave Visit.

Day 4: Phong Nha – Vietnamese Cooking Class – Dong Hoi Departure

We will have breakfast at restaurant after the hotel check out. Then we will board our bus for our last day activities in Phong Nha. Today, we will visit Quang Phu sand dunes and enjoy the Sand Sliding there. It is also a great opportunity for us to explore the living spaces of coastal dwellers and get a better understanding of rural life of the region. Then we will join in a Vietnamese cooking class and enjoy the food we have prepared. After lunch, we will do Dong Hoi City Tour and free time to visit Dong Hoi Market/Vin Mall and head to Dong Hoi Airport for our flight back to Saigon and bring back home with us wonderful memories shared with our friends in our Quang Binh field trip.
